A large portion of the Sampling section focused on the time-domain behavior during waveform sampling. In the Reconstruction via Interpolation section, we will learn that the time-domain behavior is really an extension of the basis theory and the theory of B-splines.

However, as shown in the Distortion Introduced by Sampling lesson, concepts related to sampling distortion are clearly illustrated in the frequency domain. In this section, we will discover how sampling in the time domain affects the frequency domain.
