HALT Vibration Testing and FDS

Highly accelerated life testing (HALT) is an accelerated test type, typically employing levels that exceed what engineers expect in the operational environment. The control metrics for HALT vibration step-stress tests are gRMS and time. However, the gRMS is oversimplified for this test type. In this course, we propose a cumulative metric: the fatigue damage spectrum.
