Shock Response Spectrum (SRS)
January 5, 2023
The shock response spectrum (SRS) is a mathematical model that allows test engineers to examine the theoretical response of their device under test (DUT) to a complex shock. SRS testing software synthesizes a pulse to simulate a transient event and models the DUT’s theoretical response.
Course Topics
- Mathematical model of the SRS and its validity
- Wavelet analysis compared to time-history control
- SRS test definitions and standard parameters
- SRS analysis methods, including IEEE 344 requirements
