Directories

The Directories menu option points to where the VibrationVIEW data, reports, test profiles, etc. are stored on your PC. The default directory is C:VibrationVIEW. Most defaults can be changed.
The Database directory refers to the global transducer database. This database can be stored locally or, to share databases among different VibrationVIEW computers, a uniform naming convention (UNC) or shared drive can be used.
Future software versions will automatically detect and reset to the previously installed default directories.
